Re: Project progress
That is a body shop, iv told him (the guy in the pic) not to rush and do it between his insurance jobs etc. He's just concerened because my bonnet has a funny dent in it..hard to see silver but will stand out when painted....

Re: Project progress
They seem to have a problem on their website...I looked under NTC and Mad Motors...both threw up error messages..??
Re: Project progress
Panels and door starting to be painted
Re: Project progress
Great stuff looking forward to seeing it back together with that body kit on!
Re: Project progress
I know it's a long way to go, I was wondering what wheels you thinking of going with
Re: Project progress
19s or 20s probably deep dish
Something like this maybe...

Re: Project progress
I like the look of those, 20" would be good with the body kit. Haven't seen a zed with 20". I'm running 19" on mine.

Re: Project progress
love the bodywork progress but I'd say no to Wolfrace wheels, surely with this project you need either BMW or BBS wheels
Re: Project progress
I thought long and hard about that, and the fact that I'm not going for an oem look means I can actually go for what suits my taste and the car best rather than be shackled by bmws ideas. So I don't mind what make the wheels are, as long as they look and perform great
Re: Project progress
Each to their own and all ,... I have an aversion to Wolfrace Wheels TBH, largely because I've seen numerous battered examples on many a 'Chav-Car' over the years.
Re: Project progress
Got the seats back today, heres a few before and after pics
Re: Project progress
The seats look great really looking forward to seeing the car finished especially with that body kit on

Re: Project progress
Is it new leather or did he just re-colour them?
I've always wanted to get one of his scuffmaster kits but never got round to it, seen some amazing results from his work and from others using the products he sells. Most of the seats come up looking brand new

Re: Project progress
Its a refurb and recolour, he was very reasonable with the costs too.
Re: Project progress
Great mate, more pics please?
Re: Project progress
Another well-done from me, those seats are totally transformed Kind of reminds me of the 'le crunch bunch' advert? if you remember that
Re: Project progress
i think ilhave to google that one lol..apples? not sure i get the connection...........
Re: Project progress
Ha, nearly there with the apples - was it golden delicious?. It's the one shot in a Bugsy Malone style, everyone is sat in a rather dapper 'speak-easy' when the cops / baddies turn up, at the press of a button the table tops all lift up into the ceiling leaving a rather dirty looking bar. When the cops leave the button is pressed and magically the old dirty room turns into a plush environment again. SORT OF like your seat transformation if you have a warped mind like me
Re: Project progress
lol, i remember it...and i know where your coming from, but its a bit of a stretch. lol
Re: Project progress
My minds a bit 'stretched' sometimes
I guess it was more to do with just seeing the before and after pics (of the seats) so quickly one after the other - obviously you didn't experience that in the same time-frame.
They have definitely had an 'extreme make-over' and turned out for the better .

Re: Project progress
A few pics of the side skirts painted from different angles so you can see how they seem to change with the light...
