How different are Arctic Silver and Titan silver?
If I put an Arctic silver hardtop on a Titan silver car will it look odd?

Arctic vs Titan
Re: Arctic vs Titan
I bought my titanium hardtop off a guy who had it fitted to an arctic silver car as he never realised there were two silvers
You could tell, some angles looked worse than others.

There is enough of a difference that you will notice, if it we me I would not do it, I would forever look at the hardtop knowing it just was not right.
I think Gookah had some pics somewhere.

Arctic hardtop on a Titan car...
Arctic on Arctic:
To be honest I struggled to tell the difference, unlike when you have the two cars side by side.

I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..
Re: Arctic vs Titan
Looks different at the back, the hardtop back edge looks bluish
but the side view looks ok

Re: Arctic vs Titan
The pics don't show the extent of the difference in my opinion (auto cameras will try to compensate and balance out the colours).
IMHO I would never do it as it just looks like you've had a naff paint job on the roof re the obvious colour mismatch.
You would be much better off with a total contrast of black or the correct silver.

Re: Arctic vs Titan
Thanks for the comments guys. Mixed views were to be expected I guess
I am concerned about it just looking like a bad paint match so maybe I'll be patient and wait for a Titanium one.
And yes, roadster it is and roof should be down but circumstances have changed and it is currently having to work a little for its living.
Cheers

Re: Arctic vs Titan
theres very little difference and the perceived difference is more down to the fact you know its the wrong colour .in fact the formulations for both colours is very similar
