I know there is a lot going on what with the west country and batlefields run but i can not believe the little response this has generated. Jims welsh cruises are some of the best cruises you can get. Fab roads scenery and company. You can even treat your other halfs by having a dirty night away lol all for an experience you wont forget. Ask anyone who has been on one. So come on all them who havnt anything planned get the Zed out and come and join us. Would be nice to meet some of the new folk.

I would be there but my car is taxed April onwards. Its just a few weeks early for me. I expect a few others may have the same issue.

I've done the area when I had a weekender in Wrexham, unfortunately it's a little too far for a one dayer and I work Saturdays :(

I'm thinking of joining you, but just out of interest what time do you think you'll be leaving the Ponderosa? May have to make a weekend of it and stop in Llangollen on the Sat night - Mrs Mint will be happier rather than getting up v. early on Sunday  .

Looking at leaving at around 10:00am, If you need somewhere to stay try the Bryn Howel Hotel doing some good prices at the moment, Billz is booked in on the Saturday Night I think he paid £40 for bed and breakfast for him and his much better half..

Hope you can make it, The roads and scenery are among the best in the country, will be a really good day, Look forward to meeting you..

Hi Jim count us in for this one, Mrs Mint and I are definately coming :D I couldn't get in the Bryn Howel Hotel as it is fully booked :( . I've got a double room at the Abbey Grange Hotel for £55 including breakfast - not too bad. So we'll see you at the Ponderosa for a tea & coffee.
Looking forward to meeting some more people from the forum, lets hope for good weather

Great stuff, be good to meet you and your wife.

The Abbey Grange has a fantastic location, Opposite Valley Cruises Abbey foods very good as well, well worth the money. 5 minutes drive into Llangollen and right at the bottom of the Horseshoe pass Good Choice :thumb:

See you both on the 4th

Cheers Jim, good to hear the hotel is ok. Lets hope the weather sorts itself out by the 24th - we've had snow showers here today :(

I am very tempted to come on this one. Would I be welcome at short notice. My problem is, the car is being MOT'd on Saturday and hopefully, 2 new rear tyres will have been delivered by then and fitted. Mytyres.co.uk say that delivery of the tyres is 27th March so not sure i will have them on in time.

I will know by Friday if thats ok guys.

I'm thinking about coming on this.

I can't make any promises as I'm on call and may end up hundreds of miles away. If I'm coming, I'll be at the Ponderosa at 0900 on Sunday morning. Hope to see you there.

Best to amend the title (in the first post) then people will see without having to open the thread.

I hope it's only postponed and not cancelled.

I had a feeling this would get cancelled. I would be interested in a new date.

Good effort anyway in organising.

Its a shame about that. Very bad luck to get snow like this. I organised a cruise this very weekend 5-years ago and we had 20 degree weather!
