Had a drive last night with the roof down.

Feels good!

In the dark with the roar of the straight six!

Welcome to the world of Z3s I became an owner last July and its my daily drive. There is no better feeling than driving with your hood down. Are you going to Newby Hall near Ripon,<Cars in the park> on the 5th of May. I went to the last one October and met about 30 other Z3 drivers,a very pleasant experience.
Looking forward to meeting you if you can make it.

Hi and welcome to the forum / madhouse - glad that you're enjoying the Zed.

There is a Cars in the Park meeting on the 5th May Link Here which is not too far away from South Yorkshire.

Hi.
Just looked into it and I think there's a good chance we'll go. Not too far from me so its ideal. Do a lot of people usually attend?
Thanks for the info :)

There are 10 definitely going at the moment (some may be waiting to see what the weather forecast is like before getting tickets) with most of us meeting at Ferrybridge Services - see the link for details of times, etc.

The CITP meetings are quite relaxed and Newby has been a regular venue for a number of years - there are picture galleries on the CITP website including the year with the pink Z3 when over 30 Zeds tried to park in a fan shape - as a change from straight rows! There's usually a lot of other nice cars to look around as well as the house, gardens, etc.

It's free to register with CITP and usually tickets can be bought up to the day before but Chris runs the site on his own so it's best to get the tickets a couple of days before just in case there are any problems. The basic process is:
1. Register.
2. Purchase a ticket.
3. Log out and then log in again, go to tickets and there should now be a Print option against the ticket.
4. Print and remember to bring it with you as the tickets give quite a good discount on the normal admission price.

I was just trying to think of tips for your other thread...

I think im going to go to a quiet area for a bit of a practice. Don't want to do any damage to it.

I understand your nerves, but don't be too scared of it. They handle brilliantly, just be sensible with it and you'll be fine.

Unless by "practice" you actually mean "donuts"! Hehe! ;)
