You should go, Mark, it's only 2hrs 3mins - 130 miles. CITP at Newby was our first ever cruise with Titan & Jamezee.

We were the first at Ferrybridge Services and had a coffee until Zed Carer arrived.

Titan sold us some Magnetic Stone Chip Guards, but I don't think he makes one big enough to cover your bonnet!!

We'd rather you came to Duxford, Mark, but failing that you can't just sit at home on your own and CITP at Newby will be a good day out for you.
Have good day and take your camera, we want some pics.

I've just spent all morning polishing Monty and it's just tipped it down, so I've given up the will to live!!!

You need to buy a ticket online if you plan on displaying your car - you should be able to do that up until this evening.

Newby was good fun this year. Thanks to Bil for the organising. It was good to catch up and meet friends old and new. The event looked to be well attended, and the weather was great.
Here we are waiting for the group to come along. The route passes the g/f's house so it makes for a relaxing morning for me :-)

You will notice the cars are in a nice straight line here until we get to Maurice :head:

The drive for me was the first outing for 7-months so I was pleased to find the car was still driving well with no problems. Amazing actually but thats for another post. Looking forward to more days out with the car and my car pals :D

footnote...I have not edited out number plates so will happily takes pics off individually if anyone lets me know.

Firstly a couple of thank you's: thanks to everyone for getting to the meeting points on time as it made my life so much easier; and thanks to those posting photos as I forgot to take any

Nice to meet a mix of older and newer members and it looks as if everyone enjoyed themselves.

Just a reminder that the Autumn CITP meet is on 8 September at Lotherton Hall - we passed it on the way to Newby!

Did think you might have been heading to the wrong place when we passed the sign for it, Bill. In the end it was only me that took a wrong turn in Boroughbridge when I lost the back of the snake and failed to recognise the roundabout for Morrisons - but I soon realised my mistake after 100 yards or so.

Thanks very much for organising - always a good day out at any CITP events - and good to meet some new faces as well. :)

I didn't take many pics, but I have a few that I'll add later - been a bit busy as I was at another car show today at Gawsworth Hall.

Some nice shots of the cars arriving on Kev Dunnington's Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set ... 980&type=1

Great to see all the Z's there and we had a great time, even though the Z had to stay at home (the 3 of us had to use the practical 4wd family car).

Any more pics of some of the other lovely metal there on the day?
