Classic insurance
Hi All,
Just starting to think over our car situation and with the zed used very little as a 3rd car does anyone have their zed classed as a classic car status insurance? If so, who are you with?
Thanks
Richard

Adrian Flux for me too.
Most realistic and sensible people I spoke to, and I'm happy with their service.

Re: Classic insurance
I tried to get my Z3 3.0 (2001) insured on a classic policy, but it isn't garaged, which seemed to prevent me being able to do it (my other car is in the garage -RS2000- which is insured on a classic policy). If anyone finds a firm that will allow me to insure it kept on the drive, then I'd be interested to hear about it.

Re: Classic insurance
Hi All, thanks for the replies. This is encouraging news and all the insurance companies you have mentioned will be my option very soon. Using my zed only 1000-1500 miles per year makes me think using normal insurance does not cut the mustered keeping the annual price as it should be. I will keep you posted regards my next quote and if it comes down using a cherished policy.
Re: Classic insurance
Normal insurance can be OK. I use Admiral Multicar. Three cars, fully comp, bonus protection with windscreen cover and no mileage restriction. £150 excess for each car.PORTMYSTER wrote:Hi All, thanks for the replies. 2010 525D touring £380.75
1998 Z3 1.9 auto £182.19
1997 ZM roadster £255.59.
Don't think that this is too bad. My insurance for this year went up by just over £2. Well that's inflation for you!
