Newbie

Post by A13 »

Hi All,
New here. Had my Zed for about 5 months now and been loving it, especially with the weather we have unusually been graced with!
It is a 1999 2.8l in Hellrot red, pretty high spec i believe and just past 50k miles.

Fell into ownership accidentally to be honest, had a 118D for a year, being a diesel hatchback was a little dull. My granddad bought the car on impulse from Chandlers in Hailsham in 2009 after seeing it in their showroom, ran it for a few years and was about to chuck in in to PX on a new Audi so i snapped it up!

I'm 23, and this is my 6th car already! Can't see myself getting rid of this too soon though. Even came with the hardtop to help get through the winter months.

Heres a couple of pics. Cheers. :)

Think he is regretting it to be honest, he loved the z3.
He's happy I got it though, rather than it going out to trade somewhere.

I like the little rear boot spoiler. What type is it? Nice motor you have there!

Cheers,

Lovely car you have there, I would have loved that at 23  I had a two seater of a different kind, a Toyota Hilux Pickup!

I've gone though the boring hatchback stage, had a clio, golf, couple of A3s and the 1 series.
Have no need to 2 back seats so made sense. Insurance is surprisingly cheap too, I do live in a 'good' area though which helps!

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Spoiler looks like an OEM 3-piece. Not standard, but it is BMW. :)

Cheers R.
