Blackbushe Meet

Post by Joycey »

We did a Blackbushe meet a year or two ago in the Hampshire area at blackbushe Airport, Are the guys still here that went last time, sadly i missed it but think its time we sheduled another meet. They have a nice cafe there and its easy to find.

I have seen plenty of Zeds in the area and some new members on here too. We arranged for a sunday last time.

Anyone willing ?

Did this ever take place?

I was at the last one and would be up for it again if it's still 'work in progress'

I had all intention of following this up but never got round to it. It needs to be done though. In the last few years so many Zeds have sprung up in our area.

Agreed, seen quite a few this summer - guess the weather has encouraged a few owners to get them out of the garage.

Count me in if we can do something this summer / autumn.

Actually I had miscalculated - didn't realise the 1st was a Sunday. This means that I am not around on the 15th.

So how about a suggestion of Sunday 22nd? We could meet at the cafe for bacon sarnies?

22nd is good for me. Ill put it in my diary. For those who don't know its Blackbushe Airport your cant really miss it. It sits on a very long road with a car auctions at one end and the airport the other. The car-park at the airport has a Cafe which can be seen from the road.

Cafe is probably the best place to meet up since it can be accessed directly from the main A30. Postcode is GU17 9LQ. Has a reasonable car park out front so we should all get parked up OK.

Shall we say 9:30 as a good starting time? Cafe does (or at least the did last time I was there) bacon sarnies and even a full cooked breakfast.

My coupe is still in pieces, if she is ready in time i'll be there!

Don't forget that the Tour of Britain starts at midday in Epsom so watch out for road closures later!

Yeah I totally agree Bazza. For example : 2nd feb
9th feb
16th feb

They are all Sundays. Does anyone have a nice route with a pub lunch involved?
All I can think of is out towards the A3 back lanes. It's full of nice little eateries with large car parks.
