Hi Ci we would love to come on your cruise but are only available the weekend of 7th 8th of June.

Our first Zed cruise was with you a few years ago when we had our Atlanta Blue Zed, and that inspired us to organise our own cruises in Kent/Sussex.

Would love to join you on the date you choose if we can.

The Lepe via Beaulieu route sounds lovely. :D

It's about time somebody kicked this of, have been waiting for a Dorset cruise for two about years, so me + wife & Zelda would be very interested, has anybody thought about the car on the quay Poole? Friday nights they hold a sports car night?
and doe's anybody fancy a Sunday pub meet during the day or meeting up in the evening perhaps? I've seen plenty of Zed's about in the Verwood / Ringwood area's surely we must be able to start a summer meeting point/cruise.
We went on a weekend trip to Devon a couple of weeks ago with another Z-site 14 cars attended Z4 + Z3 had a brilliant time cruising around the Devon country side I would recommend it.

Hello there Ci, would definitely be interested in joining you folks on a Z3 run.I live in Tincleton (near Dorchester) and yes we are spoilt for choice for great driving routes and fabulous scenery, maybe incorporate coast road from Bridport to Abbotsbury with views of the chesil bank, fleet lagoon, portland going west to east or golden cap and a panorama of chesil and lyme bay the other way. Good for Z3 spotting round my way so gimme a wave M7 FEG!! Can recommend Kings Arms at Portesham on the above route, Sunday afternoons - live music, real ale, lovely beergarden too..

regards all, Jeremy.

So Zed owners the Dorset Sea Run is ON for Sat 14 June. We'll start off at the airfield at Compton Abbas for breakfast/coffee early. Zig Zag then depart for Milton Abbas, lunch. After we fly to Burton Bradstock, coast road, Abbotsbury, inland accross country and end up for tea and farewells in Tolpuddle. Plenty of fabulous views, good driving and good company. So if you want to join let me know: how many, a contact, and colour of car etc...cheers Ci

Hi readers - I was up near Milton Abbas two days ago, on sunny Thursday and while driving down the valley to Whitechurch it struck me that this drive will not disappoint both drivers, and passengers! You'll appreciate both varied driving and 'the magnificent green waves' of Dorset's countryside... and meet fellow Zeddites. Ci

ZigZag Hill road is very pot holed CI, Might not want to do any spirited driving along there.

Sorry I've not replied to your emails, very busy with Golf & work at present to commit. Keep in touch.

Not many drivers waving in and around Verwood. :(

Hi Wessex drove down ZigZag about 3 weeks ago they have re-surfaced most of it :!: hope they have finished by now, what car have you got colour :!: as if I
see any Zed on the road my arms leave the steering wheel automatically in Verwood or any other area.

Pauline I promise you will not be able to eat it all  Mint Looks like another member will be staying at The Best Western near Shaftsbury if you stay near Shaftsbury be sure to visit Golden Hill lovely tea room at the top
this is famous for the boy riding down on his bike in the Hovis advert, It will be good to see you again :) .

Hi Bazza, it's a silver 2.8 automatic. The reg looks like BONGO hence it's name.

I usually wave when approaching ZZZs but not all respond. I'll look out for you.

My step daughter damaged a wheel in a pothole on ZZ hill recently although my wife confirms they have now repaired a lot of the holes.

CI, Carole is busy on the 14th but I may be free. I'll let you know nearer the time.

Peter if you don't get to go on the run we will have to meet up some time as speaking to CI we are thinking of just doing some
pub runs / meets :D when the summer arrives maybe the odd Friday night or Sunday lunch what do you think :) I recon we have about 5 Zeds in Verwood? let alone the surrounding area,
these would be a last minute thing thou nothing to formal or arranged, we would exchange numbers and just call each other when you need a Zed fix.

Hi Mint
This Dorset is worth a long drive. You guys will not be disappointed. Lots to see Ci :rtm:
eg The village of Milton Abbas dates back to 1773 when building commenced at the instruction of Lord Milton as part of the transfer of the old town of Middleton originally located within the grounds of Milton Abbey.

Hi everyone
Was fine tuning the end of the run this afternoon around Dorchester; rather fine countryside in bloom too. On my way home I saw a metallic Blue roadster going the other way stuck behind a tractor near Bere Regis. I was going to wave, then I realised I was in my Mini! :dunce:
Anybody want to try out the run for me?? Let me know/PM and I'll email it over. Would appreciate this...

Looks like Mrs A. isn't able to swop shifts for that day so she probably can't make this cruise :( , but myself and RED are very much looking forward to it!

If I can find a few hours, I'll happily run the route in advance for you.
It'd be a good excuse to let RED off the leash for a while!
I'll PM you my email....

Cheers.

When I tried to book in the Royal Chase it was full :( so we're in the White Hart Hotel in Sturminster Newton.

Really looking forward to meeting old (Bazza) and making some new friends :)
