Oh my lord!!

After less than 5 miles the difference was astonishing.

I used around 800ml of the ATF and then mixed that in with the MTL and put the other 500ml in.

Even from cold the gears just feel so good, and no longer tries to go into 5th instead of 3rd.

Very impressed with that.

An O.E 'hard shell' suitcase for the luggage rack, just need the rack now!!! Was on Ebay and had no bidders at all so I snaffled it up for the princely sum of £36. Absolutely mint condition and chuffed to bits with it :D

I suppose it's not what I bought but what I fitted after forgetting about owning it! A stormwrkz V1 gear knob, boy what a difference it has made to gear selection. Just need a hat for it for winter months. I suppose I should get my lady ass to fit fit my whelan bonnet lever as well :)

Fitted Storm Motorwerks V1 Weighted Short Throw Shift Knob 2 days ago, and I don't feel this positive "boy what a difference it has made" :/ Why do you like it? I feel that it takes now more strength to move it around - reverse and 5th gears are the most challenging... When putting in reverse all center console shakes. The best shifter I had used was on some Toyota and I was able to change gears with two fingers easily...

Maybe I need to change oil in my gear box? How often do you do that? Will it make any difference? Not sure if oil was ever changed in it (1997 car and I own it for 6 years). Any thoughts?

Actually I came to this forum now to offer some exchange for ACS black line knob if someone would be interested and then I saw your comment...

I will give it a try. Actually I never experienced problems with gears before. Only sometimes, when car is not moving it's hard to put into first gear, but some people are saying that that is normal.

Gear box oil change does help but the new knob for me made that usual notchy change into 1st almost smooth. Just need a little 'hat' for in come winter. In Mike Fishwicks short shift conversion write up he does state that the short shift mod does result in a bit more effort being required. Try the oil change and compare your two sticks if your not happy with the short shift still I'm sure someone will buy it on here :)

a new SS sports CAT and full SS CAT back exhaust system from Tony Banks in Pudsey, Leeds, West Yorkshire.

2 hours and £478.80 Lighter (£399 + Vat) <<<<OUCH!, but hey, its still cheaper than OEM and it'll last forever right? Came with their lifetime guarantee anyhow.

I didn't go for the Saxo or Corsa sound, I told him I liked the stock sound but wanted a little more straight 6 purr.....It sounds gorgeous.
Big thanks to David (Tony's son) for squeezing me into their busy schedule at such short notice. It hurt like hell getting up at 6am..... I didnt realise there are two 6 'o clocks in one day!
Designed or not designed, that is the question.

Well, after twelve years I have had to buy a new battery. Not bad Eeh. Says a fair bit for original equipment. Havn't done anything special, just drove the Babe and maintained it as we all do, (with the occasional spanking of course). Still makes me feel really great when out in it.
Happy Driving all. Kruisn.

170 GBP + shipping. I like that the carbon is not yellow as I had seen in other wheel pictures.
