Doncaster Classic Car & Bike show Sunday 6th July
New venue for 2014 to be held at the Doncaster racecourse
Jointly organised by the Rotary club of Doncaster and the Traditional car club of Doncaster with all profits going to local charities
Varied selection of vehicles on display including Classic and modern, military, commercial and motorcycles. There will be other forms of entertainment with a family base and a selection of trade stands.
For those wanting to stay over, camping facilities and local hotels available
We are hoping to have a display of both classic and modern BMW's on display
Would be nice to have a Z section
£4.50 entry per car as a club based on a minimum of 6 cars.
Pre booking essential, entry forms can be obtained from http://www.doncasterclassiccarshow.org.uk ensure you list BMWCC on the entry form.
Looking for expression of interest if attending, please also confirm if booking so i can keep account of the numbers and the space we will be occupying.

Would be good to make this a regular and well attended event for the BMWCC / Z Roadster

This is nice and local for us so will be coming along - Z3 2.8 1999 Titanium Silver.

Hopefully more will be coming along to make up the minimum of 6 cars but if needed (as it's so local) we could bring both cars.

If you go to the web site listed above for the Doncaster show print off application and send with stamped addressed envelope to the address listed 16 Cantley lane Doncaster
Please quote BMWCC on form,

Alternatively PM me your details will need reg number and your address, If you possess a cheque book (bit old fashioned these days) send me a check made payable to the Rotary club of Doncaster St Georges. I have sent the first six off to ensure we get a club section so will hopefully be sending more in next week
We have 5 Z's so far to go with the others BMW's so a good showing but room for more

will send you my details on receipt of PM

Hi Eddie

You will get a pass with vehicle details to display in front window on entry, possibly trying to arrange a meet prior to entering for us all to go in together if possible.

This about 1/4 mile away can look for alternative if we want a bit more of a joint run?

Don't mind coming from Scunthorpe, be nice to convoy up, but Asda seems a good choice. There's always Tesco or is it Sainsbury at, 'is it Wheatley roundabout?'

Planning to meet up to go in as a group if possible about 9am at:

Asda Doncaster Superstore,

Gliwice Way, Bawtry Road, Doncaster, DN4 5NW

There is a McDonalds adjacent, and store doesn't open till ten so will be plenty of room to gather as a group only 1/4 mile to the venue from here. Public in from 10 so they want as many cars in and parked up by then.

We will be in two rows back to back, have provisionally worked it so cars are grouped, but also kept pairs together, hope that makes sense (Steve & Viv / Bill & Mrs Bill / Paul & Norrie)

Marshalls will be on the gate and will direct us to our allocated space. Anyone coming late please make sure the Marshalls know you are with the BMW club.

getting close and the Weather is improving.

Sorry Eddie
Just read your post
Would have been good to have had a bit of a run, just I know in the past its been a favourite to meet where food and drink are available (only Mc Donalds on Sunday at 9 in the morning)
Nothing near Tesco with Sainsbury up the road from the other McD

Looks like I will be taking the Zafira, as the Z is taking longer then originally planned its going to be Monday by the look of things. However they are doing a great job!
I'll have to forsake me pass, and pay again at the gate.

Thats a shame Eddie.

How about Bank holiday Monday at Thoresby. Good show can pay on day. We normally meet up at Ollerton and drive in together.
