Has the world gone mad? M Coupe for sale £30k

It's a 2000 (X) S50 with 36000 miles on the clock. It has air-con and Harman Kardon and looks OK, but you will see better at Silverstone every year.

I tried to look in the boot to see the welds, but the carpet is screwed down. Underneath is clean, but hasn't been "cherished". Same goes for under the bonnet. There is work to be done to bring the car up to our standards. I would expect perfection for £30k, and this isn't perfect.

M Coupe prices seem to have shot up this year, there has been a number of cars selling big money recently.

I've seen them go for more that £30k, the most I seen asked is £45k for a very low mileage, late model.

I have always lusted after a Z3M Coupe but now they are way, way out of my league.

Note - yes, I do mean "lusted" - I think if ever I was to own one, I wouldn't bother cleaning it with a bucket and sponge - I'd lick it clean!
