Nice pics, but you could've retracted the roof catches before taking them. :lol:

Black does look good when it's shiny. :)

Perhaps it is my old eyes, but it looks like a dark blue car in the first pictures and black in the subsequent ones.

Did you respray it in between? :)

These were taken on a budget Canon SLR which I used because my expensive one was being repaired (but I had a good lens on it which makes a big difference).

Always use auto glym tyre dressing under the bonnet... got that tip from the previous owner :)

Great looking car, got a black 97 2.8 myself. Noted: the use of Autoglym tyre dressing for the engine bay. I'm a big fan of Chemicalguys stuff especially the ecosmart waterless detailer, which I don't use as a wash. more of a light waxer. Petes 53 car wax is good for black cars too. You can actually see the wax when compared to to an unwaxed strip. Yours is probably the best example of the colour I've seen!
