A brief warning

Post by the Nefyn cat »

Evenin' all,
A true and tragic tale, heading home down one of our many country lanes I saw a rabbit run across the road ahead of me, then run back again. And then run back again. Too late to avoid it, heard a clunk from the front of the Z, stopped and had a look but couldn't see anything in the road so carried on home. Next morning all the dogs on the yard were gathered at the front of the car getting excited about something, had another look but still couldn't see anything so I left them to it. A while later, while I wasn't around to see it, one of the dogs managed to drag the still alive rabbit out of the radiator air intake (through the grille ) and disposed of it in the way that dogs do. So, beware, country dwellers, rabbits fit in that nice big hole in the front bumper, and may survive to provide entertainment for four legged chums. Grille still looks alright, got to get close to see where the little bugger got through.

Great story. Bet the wife is mad she didn't get the chance to make rabbit stew for ya! Cooper

Reckon a deer would have made a bigger hole in the grille, but at least the dogs might have left some for me.

Poor little bunny rabbit.

Spurs Fan had an argument with a deer a while back, but it wasn't too bad:

A car which clearly isn't a Z4 in Germany had a much more severe fight with a deer and ate it. And there's also a link to what a pheasant can do to a porker. Neither of which are for the squeemish!

Cheers R.

Edit: Now factually correct

Amazing where the deer went and the Z4 morphed into a 3 series.
