Resurrecting z1 with front damage - got parts?

Post by DrSasha »

Hi guys,
I came upon a possible project.
Perfect low mileage z1. Well, perfect from the engine back.

Need front end parts due to collision.

Anyone with a complete front clip maybe?

If in separate parts, all the bumper, headlights, hood, radiator support fogs , windshield are needed.

Please email me.

Hello Doc,

You will nearly always find Z1 body parts for sale on German Ebay www.ebay.de
UK Ebay also should be checked for the occasional item.
Good Luck !!

Not much left here, but the bonnet appears intact if you still need one...

Peter,
Astonished at the low prices you have paid for Z1 headlights and radiator. I had to buy just a new headlamp glass some while ago and it was over £100.
If you have a particular place in the UK for Z1 parts perhaps you might share it with this forum's members?

Whilst I admire Peter's enthusiasm I cannot see the relevance of his comments on the Z1 site, as it now appears he was talking about a quite different vehicle, which probably only shares a manufacturers badge with the Z1.
Perhaps I am not as alert as my fellows but I am also confused about Peters last post which appears to mention a chap called Vic and a spiv who is building a Kobra.
Can someone please advise whether I need medication to understand the subject matter, and relevance of this, or am I just past my sell by date?
