LOW REV HESITATION
LOW REV HESITATION
my 3.0 auto at 1500 - 2000 rpm and accelerate nothing happens its like pulling a truck then kicks down 2 gears and all is ok , any ideas welcome, ive heard coils or spark plugs or cam sensor ???
Re: LOW REV HESITATION
A coil problem would tend to give a permanent misfire and a failed sensor would normally cause a warning light on the instrument cluster. Unless you know the service history, I would start with simple service items like plugs & air filter - both these items get left in for ages these days and if a sequential main dealer service regime was disrupted, these items can often get overlooked and left in far too long.
Re: LOW REV HESITATION
Cam sensor is entierly possible. Failure only
logs a ' silent' fault code so no warning lights.
Get the codes read at a garage or some one that has carsoft or inpa.
There may be a member near you who can help, whereabouts are you??
