Interesting top-hose modification there - but then it is an expensive part.

Also, slightly clumsy A/C fitting by the look of the pipes to the rear of the engine compartment.

Nice opportunity if it is real and the rightful owner is the person selling. I wouldn't fancy buying a car from the Dominican Republic though - dicey at best!

Yes and I did ask the wife if she fancied a couple of days in the Caribbean. By the time I'd added on her expenses, we were well over my budget :D :head: .

If I knew what I was doing re importing a car from the Dominican Republic, I'd have won the bid with that one, or the top bidder would have had to pay a fair bit more than he did.

Having read about exporting from the Dominican Republic, I imagine that by the time it is on these shores, it will have doubled in price. It's a shame that I found out about it on a Friday night. I did look and the embassy is closed on weekends. I'd have made a visit to inquire about costs to export it back to here.

As long as it can leave the island, I'm sure that someone will make good money on that car.
