Looking for an armrest in black for a 2001 roadster, ideally the US one with integral cupholder. Would compromise on a push-fit one that goes into the console.

There are only 2 types of Z3 armrest. One which requires the OEM cup holder which fits to the console and has the armrest fitted to it......

something like this... which I supply the armrest part only.

or, the one I make up which has a cup holder which swivels out from under the armrest......

Like this...

Southernboy`s armrest and cup-holder in my car. Very comfortable armrest. Takes about 20 minutes to fix.

These were sold only in the US. It will not fit in a RHD car.

Checked with BMW Parts dept, oem cupholder not in stock nationally, so probably no longer available. Back to square one !

I bought one recently from BMW. I think they got it from Germany but I'd be surprised if it's suddenly become unavailable.

I have both versions of Southernboy's holders - they are both great, however the one that doesnt require the OEM cup holder is better I think as it is a bit higher up IMO
Here come the girls.....
