Wheel Opinion

Post by the_youth »

Currently have these BBS CH wheels on my zed. I'm not convinced though. Still prefer the original style and these just look too big though they are 19".

For what it's worth, I don't like those at all.
For me the original wheels are a big part of the M's image.

Yeah I think I agree. The BBS wheels look better on a e46 coupe.
Still got the original wheels. Think I'll get them refurbed.....

I think 19s always look too big on the Z3, regardless of the style. 17s or 18s with a bit of drop work best IMO

I like the style of wheel and have seen many zeds fitted with them, in this case the colour of the wheel doesn't suit the car. Silver finish would look much better.

I've made my decision. Sold the BBS wheels (pending deposit) and will get the originals refurbished.

Good choice. I don't think I've ever seen 19s work on a Z.

The sheer joy of the Z3 is that you can do so much to them. There is no rite or wrong decision to make on wheels its all down to personal preference . Ive just got some 18" MV1s and im having them powder coated in gloss black. As long as you like what you do to the car that is all that really matters.

I think the added chrome and boot spoiler are not working either on that car (IMO).

The chrome isn't added, it was factory. Though I agree it somehow doesn't work with the hardtop. Looks good with the black hood.
My spoiler isn't OEM aero, it is a veilside one. Please don't shoot me! Though not seen another one in the UK....
