3 litre z3
hi looking at ebay saw this 3 litre for sale ,been on for several weeks item no 301908841293 did a hpi check which showed cat d last year no mention in the advert .emailed the guy but no answer .has any one any information on this car
Re: 3 litre z3
It's been on and off eBay for some time now.
It was listed as Cat D in one of the ads but not anymore, think it might have been an ad on auto trader.
The seller will be hoping to catch someone out whom will not Hpi check the car.

Re: 3 litre z3
I don't know why they don't just list it honestly declared as Cat D, they'd probably still get close to asking price.
It looks ok in the pictures, only way to know is to turn up and have a look.
But take someone with you that knows what they're doing.
We all know it doesn't take much to write an old Z3 off these days, bonnets alone are £900 aren't they?

Well, it's certainly cheap. But why are the sellers always "moving abroad".
The MOT history doesn't throw up any real nasties. There must be a reason why it hasn't sold. The mileage is pretty high, and I assume people are doing an HPI check and then walking away because the CAT D has turned up.

Not that cheap at 126000. I only paid 3.3k for mine with a hard top and no tears in the rear window. Ok was a couple of years ago and values are firming up but with a cat c? I struggle to see the value.
