Just an oil filter, an air filter and 6.5 litres of Penrite HPR 5 , 5w/ 30 oil. Also a good inspection by my mechanic. Like to do this on any car I buy, don't know what previous owner did or did not do to her.

Finally got round to fitting the post 2000 E46 style steering wheel I wanted on mine when I ordered it in 1999, it's in good condition but I'll use it as is for the rest of the season then give it the Royal treatment over the winter.

Some of us have fitted the Raid steering wheel

http://www.zroadster.net/forum/viewtopi ... 32&t=34180

It's 320mm in diameter but maintains the airbag. They are not cheap but dramatically improve the driving experience.

Okay, so I can gloat now; I can picked these up for under £150 (£195 delivered). Surely that has to be the bargain of the year?

I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..

Looks great. Mine is original still but could benefit from a replacement in time as some of the stitching has u picked. Presumably you can't replace the rear screen on an unoriginal roof? If not then keep up the maintenance.

I spent out on an Inspection II Service and full brake refresh; discs, pads, sensors, shoes.

Full set of Brembo brakes, cruise control kit and a set of seat bushes.
Looking for a facelift rear heated screen switch at the moment but there seems to be more rocking horse sh*t available than these. Just one on EBay in the US at $85, I'll pass on that.

A set of 17" style 89s. Got them resurfaced and painted, then painted the inside black myself. Quite pleased with the look, but might have to get some spacers next.

I needed 15mm spacers on the rear with my last Z with those type 89's. Cracking wheels though.

Yes. It will stay there until the recipient logs in, at which point it will move to Sent. phpBB does not work like Outlook.

A 4€ rear diff paper gasket. Dirt cheap part, bit of a pain to replace. Drain plug washer was cracked and oil was seeping out, so I figured I'd do the gasket too, while I was there. Couldn't've done it without a 'helper' sat in the boot to realign bolts with holes. Pleasantly surprised to not find a big deposit of filings on the magnet. And all is dry so far. Would have taken pics if I wasn't ashamed of the exterior aspect of the diff. Rust remedy and paint on the purchase list...

I got my car MOT'd yesterday at local BMW main dealer. Passed with no advisories, so I'm very pleased. Mechanic said the car is in exceptionally good condition for it's age, including underneath, which is great news, because I'm not planning to part with it! :)

My Steering Wheel is leather. Personally, one layer of leather between my hands and the wheel is all I need! Looks cool?? in the summer, my hands would be anything but cool! In the winter I direct the facia vents onto my hands which also heats my face and neck. Anyway...... I look far to cool as it is without any accessories!

Bought some EBC Reedstuff Pads front and rear. Zimmermann cross drilled Discs front and rear, plus a plethora of replacement plastic trim bits from the dealers.

Just waiting for some dampers, springs and bushes to pop up at the right price then I can get my hands dirty (again)!
