Leather Revive - M Roadster Highly Recommended
After considering various option to refurb the internal leather areas on my M Roadster... I plumped for Leather Revive... and the results are startling !
Both seats look like new with the leather deep cleaned and all evidence of wear on seat and bolsters disappeared... Even the steering wheel looks in showroom condition with the colour stitching adding to the "Looks like new" appearance.
I have pics before and after... and will post once I have worked out how to ?
Would highly recommend if anyone on the forum is looking to have this done www.leatherrevive.co.uk ask for Paul

I've enquired with various specialist like these but they typically want £400+ a seat to completely refurbish the seat.
Dare I ask how much yours were and weather any structural work was required? Either seriously worn/split leather or to the seat internals such as foam bolsters, belt guide and heating elements?
I can get a straight-forward re-tanalising for about £80 a seat but he won't do any structural repairs/refurbishment. Can't really see there's that many seats where the dye has gone but the seat hasn't worn. Who wants to just recolour a worn seat?

Cost was £260. Five hours work at my house and all scuffs removed and cracked leather repaired. If you send Paul at Leather images of damaged areas he will quote you prior to his visit.
The finished result is fantastic... and the deep cleanse included the steering wheel and leather covered door cards... I did not need any major structural works. The seats really do look stunning. in the red and black two tone colour.

The thing is you can't upload your pics to this web site. I would imagine because it would require a much more expensive hosting plan which is fair enough.rovers01 wrote:How do I upload pics on my hard drive files ?
So you need to find an external host. I have my own web site so I put pics on there. But you just need to find a free hosting site and ensure the pictures are viewable publicly.

I'm even more excited now a) because that's a very reasonable price for all those surfaces and b) that's the exact colour combination I need restored!rovers01 wrote:Cost was £260. Don't you find it more fun or just as much to drive in the wet or gritted roads?
Sliding cars is great fun even up to 20mph lol
Seems a shame to sorn them.

Depends on how you value the car... Mine is far from a garage queen... but hammer on winter roads cannot be good for longevity

I used a leather paint on my seats kit came with cleaner and 3 pots of leather paint that I mixed to get the correct blue on my sport seats not as perfect as yours but nearly came in at £18 ,
also driving it winter can be fun , the other day on a frosty road I had fun by seeing how many time I could get that little orange circle with a triangle in it symbol to blink
