100,000 miles and just 16

Post by Z3andZ4 »

Am delighted to confirm she made it around the clock and I am pleased I decided to stick with her to see her through this milestone.

Although I always knew they were bulletproof I have never taken a BMW this far before.

Only tiny, tiny niggle, which will be resolved when hard top comes off, rust forming on bottom of wing where front mud flaps could have been.

No other complaints - having had her this long myself (4 years) I cannot see her being sold anytime soon especially as the Z4M coupe will come off SORN soon :-)

It's not a 1983 Ford Fiesta :P Another 900,000 to go round the clock :rtm:

My 2002 1.9 was at 130k when a faulty relay caused the head gasket complications that sent the engine to the big graveyard in the sky. The 60k replacement is still wet behind the ears...

Boosh.

MY 2.0l was at the 150,000 mark and was still running beautifully - I hope it goes on for twice as much again
