Is My Zm The Least Used On Here Embarrest Or What

Post by 321bhp »

the zm is due an mot in 2 weeks so booked it in my local garage, which does my other cars, thought id take a look at how much milage ive done this year since the last mot on september 15th 2007,i knew it would be low but was embarrest to find ive only done 467 the whole year yes, four hundred and sixty seven miles ,i should get it out more but with the funny shifts i do plus crap weather etc,it seems the zm has been in my garage a lot this year

so wondered if mine was the least used z3 on here,i do drive for a living so after my usual 250-300 miles a day and ten odd hours the last thing i want to do when i get home is drive again

some may say whats the point in having it,but ive worked my nuts off for a few years to buy it,all cash no finance or hp,and i honestly cant sell it,maybe im a little mad who knows

You could have put another 150 miles on if you had come on the Essex Run :P

Second one looks nice. Younger and less miles but more costly.

Wonder what kinda exhausts are on the first one you listed Alex?

Would you consider a different colour??

See here -

If you bought, you could join the Imola club. :P

I'm no expert but seeing as it says "Magnex" on them I'd go with Magnex :P

I only drive Hamish a couple of times a week, but with monthly events etc he'll clocks up about 9,000 - 10,000 a year.

Rest of the time I'm in the Corolla.

I have done about 5,500 miles in the Shark so far this year and about the same in Toadster. I sometimes take Sharky out because I can and I want to    To be honest I do have at least two 15 miles long journies to work and back per day in the week and if I am at Nottingham at HQ I have a 110 mile round trip, so it is great to get some M action in. :D

I also got really mad at this Gordon Brown car tax thing and my M is not much less economical on fuel than my 2.2. I am going to get max value out of what I have paid for, drive and enjoy and put the two fingers up to GB

Terry if it's any consolation my other car (Fiat 500 original) has done less mileage than yours  in fact it's done a 440 miles less than yours

Just goes to show, I prefer driving the zed

My MC and Z3 will only do around 300 miles each a year ... but only because they are on the other side of the world from me - being stored in NZ :D

BUt will rack up some serious miles when I am eventually reunited with them. Would be more than happy to take yours out for some 'exercise' Terry :)

On another note, am thinking about some reasonably priced wheels for another car, and considering the wheels you have. Would like to know if they are decent quality (prone to bending, cracking etc), but you'd need to do some more miles to be able to tell ...
