Post by Antoninus »

Well the method I use for baked on bird poo is to place soaking wet (hot) kitchen roll on it for 5-10 mins to soften it before wiping away.

I've read somewhere on Google that if it's freshly done go out there now/asap and try using some white vinegar on it. the acidity should break it down, then wash the are thoroughly and wax.

Looks like its the good old household white vinegar option with copious amounts of hot water in a spray bottle. What about the stuff they use to take road grime off. is that acidic too?

Sorry for being precous but its my baby and....well you guys know.

Don't know but do it asap and give it a good wash and wax.

I'd be getting the neighbour to pay for it to be sorted out properly if it stays there after a wash!

Indeed, my brother in law had this problem with his MX5, it ended up being repainted.

I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..

Sorted! Took the car to the local bosnians, they all sprayed some degrime stuff on the bonnet, hey presto. smooth as a baby's bottom.

11 quid and shines all lush again.
