No. would be the short answer. The ///M had a different size axle to the other Z cars. The offset of the alloys would mean that the wheels would poltrude the arches which is an M.O.T failure.

As stated above the short answer is now....but..... if you are persistent there is a way.

It is touch and go as to whether it is legal or not, you decide.

I remember a post about this about 6 months ago which caused quite a stir!

Here is my (non ///M) 2.8 with ///M roadstar wheels.

I got the wheel arches rolled to stop the tyres catching.

I love them although they are very wide at the rear (fronts are the same on all Z3s

Jesus I'm a posting monster tonight

Just seen these on z3mcoupe

motorsport 17" alloys on PistonHeads, looks like s50 fronts x4?

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2371096.htm

You could use these and space out the rears but they wouldn't look as cool!

The x4 fronts are the way to go and those for sale on Pistonheads are a real bargain and perfect for a non ///M Z3, great spot :D

I'm not a fan of too much "poke" irrespective of the legalities / insurance issues
