Named after the Senegalese port of Dakar, the finishing point of the crazy Paris-Dakar rally. The pale yellow brings to mind the sandy deserts of Algeria and Mauritania that are crossed on the way. (Also known as ‘Frenchies’ yellow.) A limited edition of 300 Dakar Yellow Z3s was available in the US in 1997. Amongst other extras, these have yellow piping on the seats. Many thanks to all those folks who agreed for links to be made to their pictures. More pictures welcome--see notes Stone circles cruise, UK Some eyeing up of Bill Pate's Estoril roadster and Paul Ivatt's Dakar Z3 (imported from Australia). More pics of the cruise here.
