Topaz is one of the gemstones listed in the Bible as being among the natural blessings bestowed on Adam and Eve. Although most topaz is yellow or colorless, less-common hues include blue, pink, red and brown. Blue Topaz can also be created by irriadating the clear gem with Cobalt.
