: Help!!!!!!!SOS!!!
: I am contemplating buying an F reg, 81k miles, bonnet and bumper are slightly crooked, and the door has a kink in it. It has the stamped service book, and the last out of date MOT, but no bills or receipts NOTHING!! What shall i do?
: Is this normal procedure for these cars?
: My thoughts are, if i were to sell it in the future, would someone be put off for the lack of paperwork? Anyone could have stamped the book, couldnt they?
: Or am i being too paranoid?

: These cars have just reached within my budget, and I WANT ONE!

: Please help, emails to JAMARL@HOTMAIL.COM, any buing tips and guides would be appreciated.

: kind regards

: : it is hard to belive only 8012 were ever made since so many for sale...
: : Why is that everybody wants to sell them now ? Or was it the same before ?
: : Hmmm maybe it is because all those people are buying Z3's or Z8's ?
: : I don't know but that seems like a lot of Z1's for sale at one time... and this is only one search engine...

: : Anyway I still waiting for mine to arrive... and still in love with it

For God's sake - DO NOT buy that car.

There are more than enough of them for sale if you know where to look. Try www.autotrader.co.uk or www.topmarques.co.uk .

They may cost more than what you've been offered but, believe me, although it may cheap to service the engine/gearbox/running gear etc., when it comes to the bodywork/doors - you WILL be in tears - GUARANTEED. It really is worth waiting for the right car. I waited a month and bought - FROM BMW DEALER for just over £18k which included car, 1 years warranty, guaranteed mileage and perfect condition.

I could have spent £13K and bought a dog with no history, supplied from the continent with kph instead of mph and some serious bills and dubious mileage.

The car is too unique to buy any old example.
