: There is a very rare RHD converted Z1 for sale in one of the BMW mags this month.
: Griffin motorsport did a few conversions in the late 80's.
: I have only seen one, which was was really high quality work.

Actually my parents will be moving down there from the US the middle of next year for 2-3 years and will need a car (they have a Z3 1.9) while they are there. I do understand Australian car prices are ridiculously high. ANyways, I would like for them to import it back to the US when they are done there and modify to meet US DOT specs and then buy it from them. I am a BMW fanatic and the Z1 IMO is the ultimate ultimate driving machine.

: The factory made NO rhd Z1s.

Yep, I know that. :-)
