did not realise that there were tweeters already under the dashboard?

If this is true then I might have a four channel amp instead one for each channel for midrange and tweeter.

I thought there is a space in the dashboard for hiding an amp, it mentions it in the Z1 workshop manuals.

FYI I have found on one of the german websites where the owner has installed a five channel amp system in his green Z1.

cheers

: This question is almost as popular as "Sliding doors".

: Mr Ling,
: If you search this site for ICE systems , you will find some good references.

: However, You cannot install a Sub in the blanking panel, as it will portrude out too far and can cause damage to the rear plastic screen, when it is down.

: It is highly unlikely you will need a five channel amp to get the best out of the Z1, (you did say "hi Quality"?). A much smaller amp utilised properly under the passenger seat will do the trick (full movement of the seat might be hampered).
: Forget putting tweeters in the kickwells, simply replace the existing ones under the Dashboard (I find the OEM adequate for the job myself).

: regards

: Jamal
