On my car when the engine is fired up the central locking is activated therefore uninvited acsess is impossible.

I assumed that this was the same on all Z1.

In some ways it is a bit of a pest because if you want to let a passenger in you have to switch off the engine first to release the central locking or reach across to the passenger inside handle.
