: in process of a glass adjustments - how do I take off the door panel ? I figured sitting in a car, raise the door and ...

Removal of door panel is described on my web site under workshop/doors/
however (see below) you do not need to do this for adjustments.

: how do I adjust the glass ? Is it easy or a pain in the neck ?

It's a pain in the neck. All the door and window adjustment is from inside the rear wing. The prinipal adjustment for the height of the glass is from the window lifter bar. You will need to remove the rear wing to get at this. Go to workshop/bodywork for details how to do remove these panels. I have not detailed specific instructions on window height adjustment - but you will be able to see how it works once you get inside the panel.

: I found a leather dye so I will start pulling the interior panels for refinish. I decided to paint the calipers and speedo meter surroundings to red, and also the valve cover .
: I also want to re dye the shifter boot leather to something else then light grey, maybe red ?

: how bad is to replace the timing belt ? Is it true that a water pump has to come off along with a timing belt tensioner ? Adjusting the valves are heard it is easy so I will try it myself !

: is there a way to get a repair manual in paper or on CD ?
: I'd trade my ETK and TIS disc for these...

I have heard that the repair manual is on CD, but I haven't seen it yet.

The BMW Car Club (GB) have a paper workshop manual which is members only. You would have to join the club to get one. You can join on line at:
