Do you get good low responsive bass from this sub?

A WHAT? IN OTHER WORDS, DOES IT WORK? YES IT DOES. It saves on space, is invisible to the roaming eye, and adds the depth I was missing previously.

: I think that the original factory install was a 2 way speaker in the kickwells, where is your equaliser installed then?

THE EQ IS FAR AWAY FROM THE IGNITION, BUT WITHIN ARMS REACH, WHERE THE GLOVEBOX SHOULD BE.

: Did you do some of the work like running the cables then? is your Z1 damped down with dynamat and how long did the dealer take to do the install then( a few days)

YES I DID SOME OF THE WORK MYSELF, WITH THE SEATS REMOVED, IT IS AN OPENPLAN. NO SOUNDPROOFING AT ALL, JUST THE BAREBONES EQUIPMENT.It took AutoAudio about 4 hours to install.

My system is not a prize winning install, it will not adorn the covers of MAXPOWER (thank god), I am not really interested in waking the dead(my neighbours), it just suits my individual taste, Budget, and it can be removed in a matter of hours.

Ring 192, ask for AutoAudio in shepherds bush, they cater for every ICE Loving desire.

When your finished, let me know the outcome.
