I,ve just bought a very nice black Z1 1990 imported 4 years ago.from a lad in London I'm about the fifth owner and it is a credit to all the previous owners how well they've loked after it. I piled in my elise five years ago(wife kids not amused!) and this we feel is a worthy replacement. It is not as quick but just as much fun! the previous owner just spent a small fortune having a full service done. 700miles ago. However they failed to notice a large hole in the pipe that connects the air flow sensor to the throttle body. And this was an expensive Bm garage!I hope to contribute to "the board" as i can. you all have a wealth of knowledge between you!Articles that i'm interested in are which is the best bm club to be in for practicle help and advice, fun days out and general chat.I live on the wirral merseyside.I have just become friendly with a lad locally only to find 6/12 ago he sold his Z1 to a lad in Ireland which is where I'm from. Small world.
:  I feel a purchase of an exhaust coming on in the spring. I have read the board and am interested in keeping the car as quiet and original as possible. Suggestions? Also my sister has married a german lad and lives near Koln so that may be a lead? I'm putting my lovely car to bed until March. Any suggestions? Regards Brian  Known as BOG because of my initials!
