: The flaps have a small spring that hold them down. I am awaiting Agentur Hoffmann ( where I got my silencer from)in Germany who are arranging for the manufacture of these. When I know he has them I will let you Know. 
: : first question : 

: : there are two small flaps that supposed to be close when top is down and up when the top is up. They are right behind the seats at the edge of the rear fender. I had them refinish and installed new hinges as the old ones were broken. they are now stay open all the time, when I drive they open up and won't stay down. How do you make them stay down ? Are the hinges special (I doubt as one of mine is still oem) or they have something holds them down ? 


: : second question : My top has not reaching the front bar perfectly, so the two latch which supposed to keep the top down are not securing the top. This has caused a sudden top upfold at 70mph and one of the bushing broke. It is fixed now, but the top is still not 100%. The top folds out and goes too far on the bar, I have to push it back to be able to secure it with a latch. 


: : third question : a few weeks ago the driver side window will not move upward in a forwading motion. I push the button, it goes up 2 inches, puch it again, moves an anotehr 2-3 inches, and on and on. Finally after 3-4 pushes, it goes up but not with 1 touch. 


: : 4th question : The remote control can only lower the driver side door/window ? I have never even know this is a function that I have, accidently I pushed the remote's small button and a door went up. This could be an aftermarket item, not sure about the factory alarm/door remote. ALso how does the factory alarm works ? I have a key that has only one button, and that is for a small light, so was there ever a factory alarm ?

: : I have tried the owner manual for some other info but since I do not speak german, it is hard. Dictionary is getting a lot of use. Can I order a factory owner manual from bmw in english ? Does it still available ?
