: Returning servicemen have to go through the same process as everyone else, DOT, EPA.  The difference is that the Armed Forces advise and pay the bill.  Do not try using the servicemen route!


: : if you are US based, try getting a serviceman based in germany to ship the car back for you. They get the cars pre-approved here, allegedly, which means they clear US customs in germany and the army/air force pay for the shipping, not definite on this but heard a story about how an officer from frankfurt got his into the usa.........
