: looking at the pictures, the GTC silencer is not an aerodynamic part like the original / BTB silencer. It is an ellipsoid section, but it doesn't go across the whole of the car, the ends are cut short, and those extra pipes run round to the outlets. It looks as if they run part of the gas through all the system, and part is bled off early, probably what gives it more noise.

: also means that there will have to be some other way of mounting it as the original mounts are at the extreme ends of the silencer.
