As it was a dealer-fit, and the car is a little over 1 year old they told me it wasn't covered under warranty. However, they faxed BMW to ask them to consider paying for it. I was so pleased and impressed when I discovered that BMW actually agreed and now I have a shiny new CD changer. I'm hoping they tried the credit card trick first as I now have to wait 4-6 weeks for BMW to remove my CDs and return them !!! Thanks for tips but I got them too late, Cheers Paul
: I bought my Z3 ex-demo from a dealer about a year ago....it was a few months old then. : Today when I put a new CD in the CD changer, the display said "NO DISCS" and the disc caddy will no longer eject. : Has anyone had this happen to them ? Will it be covered under warranty ? I thought I read somewhere about hi-fi stuff only being covered for 12 months. : Cheers : Paul
