As it was a dealer-fit, and the car is a little over 1 year old they told me it wasn't covered under warranty. However, they faxed BMW to ask them to consider paying for it. I was so pleased and impressed when I discovered that BMW actually agreed and now I have a shiny new CD changer. I'm hoping they tried the credit card trick first as I now have to wait 4-6 weeks for BMW to remove my CDs and return them !!!
