I had my M Roadster about a month before I put it into a lamppost during wet conditions.
The car has been with BMW now for about 3 weeks and the most they have done is stripped the panels off. I cannot believe my car has to be off the road for so long. By the time I get it back there will be no sunny weather left whatsoever.

The damage to the car hurt so much I could not bear to take an pictures, I don't want to see it again until it is fully restored.

Hope you get yours sorted soon,

: Took my car to BMW chiswick and BODYTECHNICS in Slough (Thanks for this Peter G) for estimate on the damage. They both reckon that the dents are too big for the Paintless Dent Removal (PDR)and will require a respray, this is includes the rear quarter, both doors, the bonnet and front wings. Ouch.... Bodytechnics quoted about £1000, I hate to think what BMW Chiswick will come back with ! I have taken some photos of the damage if anyone is interested, I don't have anywhere to host them if someone is willing I can forward them on.

: On the plus side, a couple of builders saw an Argos van swing its backend in to my car trying to get aroung the corner, so I just need to try and get Argos to admit to it....

: Oh the joys of BMW ownership....
