But I am not one to do things by halves, although I obviously didn't want to start cutting away! So... I changed the the front mids (by your feet) to kicker RS5's and they screwed in a treat. I took of the door panel (which is increadibly easy when you know how! ask me if you want to know) and diconnected the standard tweeter and added (because there is a space where the HK stereo has two tweeters) a 1" Kicker Tweeter which fitted on like a glove. As for the rears, I put a pair of Kicker RS3's in. This bit is a real bitch, coz you have to remove all the plastic rear compartment, etc. (can all be done with a screwdriver though) I then removed the stock speakers (which were attached as one to the grills) and glued (it's neater) the speakers to the same position as the old ones. I then slightly modified the old grills and glued them back on. It all looks exactly like it did before so no one knows its worth stealing! :) I also used a 4-channel amp to power it all. I then added a 12" Kicker comp sub in the boot....but that's another story (one which isn't finished yet!) Btw - this setup sounds amazing, excellent imaging at any speed and will hurt before it destorts. Well worth the money, just a shame BMW didn't think this when they made a 30 grand car....
