what top mounts do i need for coilovers
Hi, i have just brought some coilovers and im confused on what top mounts i need if any
Do i just go with Meyle or Lemforder or do i need something more suitable for coilovers? or even Powerflex? do i need to change the top mounts or can i use the existing top mounts

Hi, I have just ordered Meyle wishbones with lollypops and bushes now do I use these for the time being or why I'm doing the work go straight for powerflex bushes, I have read good reviews with the powerflex thankyou

Mine are ordered, so hopefully will be here tomorro, ordered a new battery so hopefully can get it moved into garage this weekend and let the work commence

Would you not trust these two then?? They seem to have good feedback although they do seem cheap, I'm ordering some powerflex bushes as well, and coilovers I think, not 100% thanks for the advice

as per title, boot will not open will turn with key so central lcking is wrking but it wont open i think something must have come of the catch, can someone please pm me details on how to do this thank you

Hi, no I didn't need any special tools, just a few sockets, I have read on other forums that people have put they have changed the part even when they have got no symptoms, and it has made a fast improvement,

just add to this i had never done an oil change on a car and i did this so please dont be put off, it looks scary when you have all the parts out but take your time and it can be done

yep i did it myself, it was a little tricky followed some guides on the you tube, not the easiest thing i have done, but very rewarding, dont think it would be cheap though if a garage did this, i had never done anything like this before so dont be put off,

i would put money on it being the crank case breather valve, mine was exactly the same, perfect driving and then just cut out when I stopped, this got gradually worse, always fired up straight after, cost me about £50 for the apart and about a days work, but car sounds perfect now no cutting out she...

wow that looks alot of work, you would have to cut the door on the z3, which i wouldn't have a clue on to begin, my car is being spayed in the coming months, that why i don't mind having a play, but this might be out of my league, shame really cos they are very cheap to buy

oh right i didnt know they had the spring well that would cause a problem, maybe i need to rethink, but more i look at them more i do like them, do you know roughly how much the spring comes out the base? do you think their is a way to maybe shorten the spring? cheers

thats great i think i might have a go with the mini wing mirrors, i dont think its going to be easy, but i would love the M mirrors but they are so expensive the mini mirrors are cheap and if it dont look right i wont use them, fingers crossed it does go right thank you

i have been thinking about the mini wing mirrors, but how would you go about the wiring would you have to use the wires from the mini wing mirror or visa versa??
