Would there be an insurance issue with all the mods anyway? and even if they didn't charge extra for the cosmetic mods (ie the bumbers, boot, grilles ect) would they relpace these after a bump or just give you regular z ones? with all this disposable income, you could really make a secondhand Z look...

I was thinking that! does it have two separate fuel tanks. i know a lot of cars have two compartments but can easily be filled by one hole..... bonnet AND WHEELS nice though except for that, IMO the restyling has taken away the best style features of the car. i'm trying to remove my aerial as the grommit has decayed and i have a new one to replace it.
on all my other cars, this has been a simple turning opertion but this seems different.
is there a security feature to stop people stealing them? the manual says nothing....

It's done now... and am very happy. I managed to get it installed on the button cover where you usually have the drivers heated seat button.. as i am a pauper i have no such option on bluey (i sweat enough in winter... :oops: ) The best thing is that there was no dash cutting involved!! just a notch...

Thanks. that's the one i've gone for so far. I have a pioneer avic x1 sat nav/dvd thing installed and i did as the very helpful, if a little young lad at halfords if this would present a problem.... he didn't think so........ :roll: how big is the control? i have a space next to my traction control ...

I'm booked in at halfords to get a bluetooth kit fitted to zeddy tomo.
It's a parrot thingy for £99 fitted. no screen, just a control and a mic.
i haven't paid any deposit or anything so this is a last gasp asking anyone who recommends their setup before i dive in......

i think i know what you mean. i might pick up an old piece of dash trim and maybe try to etch off the orange tint and then experiment with colored bulbs or ways to colour the symbols from behind..... i shall show the results no matter how poor it turns out. I'm on the lookout for a topaz blue hardtop for my 2.0 z3... the thing is, i had a vision of a BLACK roof on my Blue car!!! it occurred to me that it would surely look fine seeing as my cloth top is black, and on the inside there is black everywhere!
