He also reports that the 'disappearing' doors have been repaired (they are a common weak point of these striking roadsters) What after less than 20 Kilometres! Really. Maybe the doors just became lazy through lack of use? Also car not on original Pirelli’s now on Dunlop’s so has been to a workshop....

Pat is correct about the small covers on the wheel arches which keep out the dirt and grit. If you break them removing the lower panel be aware the L/H side is available from BMW but the R/H side is on back order with no known delivery date, as I found out when my rear wheel arch liners were replace...
