Captain Tooty,
How come your 1.9 has a front bumper from a 2.8? I think I saw this one for sale on ebay if its the same one?

Hey Tim, Looks like you and me are in the same boat! I too am looking to replace my exhaust on my 1.9. Mine is the 1997 16V, and I too am searching all brands and types that have been fitted to other Z3's. I personally have put it down to 2 now, Supersprint or the Eisenmann. The Eisenmann will requi...

Can anyone tell me if I can get those chrome cluster rings directly from BMW before I pay them a visit, and if they dont where on earth can I find the exact ones other than hunting in Ebay? Also I saw a video on YouTube of some chap fitting them in an E36 cluster, he explained how you remove the clu...

I too am considering the Supersprint exhaust as a replacement to my standard old OEM one on my 1.9. Please can you tell me what this exhaust is like, does it give a nice rumble, and has it caused any problems with fitting into the rear cut out i.e melting or knocking etc. Very interested to hear wha...

Eisenmann or Supersprint for my 1.9?
Its time for a new back box, I dont want to replace it with another BMW standard one, want full stainless, tidy twin tips and a lovely growl without sounding like a chav racer! I've watched the Eisenmann Z3 videos on YouTube on the 1.9, and to be honest i'm totally amazed as to how great they sound....

I am going to go for the Supersprint replacement back box for my 1997 1.9 shortly, its dear at £460, but its a great established Italian brand, 304 grade stainless steel, and its got the twin oval tips, exact fit too, designed for the Z3. Supersprint seem to have a lot of mention, and very recommend...

Heres one with my chrome windscreen fitted, I just wanted this fitted because the car originally came with the black tape like covering on it whcih was peeling at the drivers side edge. This just sets the car off nicely I think. It wasn't too hard to fit, but I had to carefully cut off 2 metal lips ...

I want to get the chrome dial rings for the console, but they after reading the threads of how to replace, they seem a nightmare, plus i dont want after market jobby's, they have to be pushed in then the edges have to be bent around to hold them in, it just looks too daring to take that apart. On eb...

K&N PANEL FILTER FOR 1.9
Just bought the K&N replacement panel filter to change the stock paper filter in my 1.9. However after some research on here i have now learnt that there is a risk of damaging the MAP senser (air flow meter) because of the oil in the filter, so am now in two minds whether to return it for a refu...

Clear side repeaters....NOT TO BE REPEATED!!!
Hey everyone, Just thought i'd let you know today i recieved a pair of clear side repeaters from BMTOWN for £25, reason being BMW quoted me £36 each side for OEM ones, very shocked as everyone reported them on the forum being rather cheap. Anyway, after a 3 week wait, these things arrived today, loo...

Supersprint Exhaust for 1.9 no longer available???
Hi everyone, Just found that i need to get my exhaust replaced as its on its way out, i have been aware for a while that supersprint do one and it would be cheaper, sound better and last longer than an OEM standard one, so i wanted to go with the full stainless Supersprint one. Hi guys, Received me updated light clusters this morning, and yes thankyou you are spot on, they do already have the original sidelight hole already in the mirror part. And i can see clearly what you meant by the position of the cast part for the sidelight is capped, so looks simple to drill or cut ...

Thankyou guys, I am really happy now that you say that the newer style still have the original hole in the reflecter/mirror part inside the cluster, so that does only leave me to carefully drill or cut the hole in the outer part. I just didn't think it would. Thought if it was an updated light, they...

Thanks SteveZ3, I am pleased to hear someone else has done this without too much trouble i am really worried tho that drilling into the reflector part might crack or shatter it, i cant afford to make that mistake, so im panicing now. But i've bought them from someone off ebay, so gotta fit them now....

Hi everyone, Just found and bought a pair of updated headlights with the white indicators and chrome rings for my 1997 1.9, they came off a 2003 1.8. Only just found out that they wont have the parking light socket in them as they are mounted on the corners of the front bumper on later models. Just ...

Hi everyone, I'm new here on the forum, first post, but been searching the forum for bout 2 months now.
