Getting High
Hi, not been on here in a while, but always checking out what’s going on... Had my Z3 MOT this week, failed on broken spring, quite normal on older BMW's it would appear... Story is, I have had the car for coming on 3 years now, never a problem and until now, all MOT's were clear. The car was bought...

... oh and it was -20 outside !?! In Peterhead...yep defiantly faulty.... :D I think all Z3's have an issue with the fuel gauge, mine only drops to about 1/3 full, can never be sure so use the 250 miles on trip counter. By the way, been in Peterhead quite a lot over the past few weeks on business a...

I bought this one from eBay, Item number: 110701640429 It was easy to fit but unlike the OEM it does not have a plastic edge to fit the hood under, it has a canvas edge which has to be glued over the hood... Not as nice a finish but it’s what you pay for in the end, also the window would appear to h...

Someone with more experience will correct me but I don’t think that all cars had this fitted as standard; do you have a switch in the car to adjust the level of the headlights electrically? If you do then it should have this part 3 you point out, if not then it will be a manual adjustment in its pla...

Not me... But I did buy this one 110698387485 and looks much the same only the one you have found is much cheaper... You get what you pay for with these things in the end, does not look as good as the original BMW, instead of a plastic edge which the hood material tucks under you get a cloth/canvas ...

I think there maybe 2 styles, I bought a new one using the part number from BMW but it was not the same as the one I have fitted... Mine sits in a bracket on the inner wing with a single large plastic part which screws on to a stud. The other has a bracket which looks like it will bolt on to the inn...

I had never considered the safety implications, only the look and ease of fitting over the single hoops, still think they look ok especially after seeing the picts of CANMAN’s which is same interior colour as mine and of course whether the st...

Thanks for comments, I hadn’t seen this style before… The previous wheels were 18” with far too much rubber and they required a refurb, found it not much more expensive to get these with new tyres which actually fit, the ride seems better but maybe my imagination.. Chosen from a BMW replica brochure...

Hi, It is the 2.8, I was taking it easy, first real experiance of the Z3 and all that, the refill was 40l which is why I think there should have been about 10l in the tank when it started to splutter.. New to the Z3 and as yet have not obtained a manual...
