Z3 Sold

Well the z has been sold today,and it looks like it is going to a good home. I have also steered the new owner towards this forum which he checked out last night and said he found it very informative, i also told him that you were all a very helpful bunch. Thanks for the nice comments guys i have looked after the z but i have only managed less than 2 thousand miles since i have had it,hence the sale.will be sad to see it go though.

Think the Boxter looks great Hang em High,enjoyed hearing about it.We looked at the idea of having one of these before we bought the z,but we thought that the service and parts would be to expensive for what would basically be a toy.Anyway think it looks great.

Starter motor

Took the zed out for blast on saturday all was fine until i stopped off at the shop,got back in the z and click nothing at first i thought it was the battery but then realised it was the starter motor.
Anyone changed one recentiy just wandering about cost ease of job etc?

The colour is orinoco,the z is a special edition 2.8 it has a lot of extras as standard, from what i have been told there are very few 2.8's in this colour.
I think the z is great, but just needs bigger wheels to finish it off.

thanks for the advice guys. Orinoco i know what you mean about cleaning the wheels just cleaned the z this mornihg and the wheels took ages.I do like the schnitzer type wheels like on jonttts zm but haven't got that kind of budget i'll have to look at everybodys wheels on the forum and see if i can ...

Great find,looks like a really nice z.
Nice story to.Regarding the mats they are the genuine mats for that colour interior, mine were a bit dirty when i got my 2.8 but they came up great with a bit of 1000-1 carpet cleaner.
