I just drove home and pleased to say it looks like a good job, he pushed the trim back uner the window seal too which is was pleased with, it cost me £168.00 and took a little over an hour for him to fit it. heres a picture, sorry don't have a before...

I'm just sat in Costa waiting as I write this, my rear window cracked last week so I found a place in Birmingham to replace it. I will put up a picture later and let you know if this workshop does a good job (y)

hey guy's, here for more advice on my zed. My z3 is the facelift model and has the soft top with a motor which isn't working preventing me from being able to put my roof down. I have had a tinker and looked at the motor in the boot but couldn't really get my head around the wiring as im not so good ...

You may have a sticking accelerator cable. This is a common issue. You can remove the cable inner and clean/lubricate it, or replace the entire cable assembly. They are inexpensive, and easy to change. thanks for the reply im sending my zed in for a sevice soon as it hasn't had one for a few years ...
