The number does seem a bit high though. Considering it is such a special car, over 400 cars to be crashed, rusted away or sold for parts or abroad seems a bit much.

I wonder how many have ended up as race cars?

Problem solved! ....to some extent. :D I re-checked the fuses, and lo and behold, fuse 31 aka "Electronic Immobiliser" fuse had blown. This explains why I didn't see any error codes about EWS when I first diagnosed the problem when all fuses were okay, and why there were error codes about ...

I FINALLY had some time today to try to fix this problem. I tried to rule out a faulty battery by swapping it to a known good one... The spot welds in Giorgio's boot have cracked, so back to this old topic. Has anyone had any problems after boot has been seam welded? I've read a lot of comments on various forums that seam welding isn't sufficient, but I haven't seen any evidence to support this claim (or I just haven't found it)....
