Yes Alan
I fitted a pair of Front discs with drilled holes and curved grooves on then, they also came painted in black. Mine were solid discs not the vented type and got them from an eBay site, the cost was about the same as the non drilled type.

Engine Oil Level Light
Hi The light for the engine oil level remains on for a few seconds after the engine is started and sometimes flickers on again shortly after it has gone out, before going out all together. I have checked the oil level with the dipstick and it's OK. Is this a common problem?

Hi The chrome exhaust finisher on my cars tail pipe is the oval type and it's got a bit rusted along the bottom edge, has any one replaced theirs with a twin pipe finisher? Just wondered how difficult it would be to fit, as the single tail pipe appears to turn down inside the oval chrome finisher. :...

Re: Green Button in Boot
Thank All especially for the diagram showing all the parts. Removed the wing liner and the cable from the actuator to the petrol flap, it appears that the small plastic bush was missing on the bracket inside the flap and I think the plastic end on the wire has a bit missing from it. Have ordered the...

Green Button in Boot
Hi
Might be a silly question but I have a small green button in the boot on the O/S with a small petrol pump on it which I assume you would pull to operate, but as my central locking has no affect on the petrol flap what use is this button.

Re: Rear wheel bearings on Z£ M44
Don't ! Get a garage to do it, you need special hub bearing pullers and a large socket and bar and if it was like mine all the nuts holding the brake back plate were rusted, as its the only chance to change that plate when the hub is removed but if you start pulling the hub off and the inner part is...

First long fast run yesterday and when I came off the motorway and started on the country roads a loud squeal started from the o/s rear wheel I thought that a small stone had got between the brake splash guard and the disc, so stopped and had a look nothing to be seen. Tweeter speakers.
Should there be tweeter speakers in the top part of the door card as standard? My 1.8 has two speakers in the foot wells and two behind the seats but the tweeter speakers behind the small grill in the top of door cards are missing.

Hi
The paint on my door mirror aluminium bases have blistered up, a common problem I think. I was thinking of painting the bases in black instead of the body colour, I just wondered what you all thought!
It would make it much easer to repaint if the aluminium were to bleed through again.

Hi
My seatbelt slider clip at the top of the drivers seat has broken Has anyone changed this type of belt slider clip ? and can it be replaced without striping the seat down. Might end up sticking it together with some glue.

Hi
Don't think it can be a CV joint as it's rear wheel drive! could be one of the inner or outer ball joints or may be a bulge on the inside of a front tyre. There are a lot of large potholes in the roads which can fracture a tyre wall.
